Combe St Nicholas Methodist Church

Combe St Nicholas is a small Somerset village with both a Methodist Church and an Anglican Parish Church. The village is on the Western edge of the South Petherton and Crewkerne Methodist Circuit.

There are services at the Methodist Church held on the first and third Sundays at 11am. We also have a Covenant with the Parish Church, sharing services once a month and joining togeher for other events including a united Harvest Supper.

  • There is a service of Holy Communion held at the Church at 10.30 am on the first Wednesday of each month followed by coffee, which is open to anyone who wishes to attend
  • Women’s Fellowship meet on the third Wednesday of each month during which we have a speaker and then refreshments.
  • A Lifebuilders Bible study group meets in homes for fellowship and discussion.
  • We are part of Chard Churches Together and are involved in CTC activities.
  •  A Christmas Tree Festival is held there with support from, and raising funds for, different village organisations.
  • With a membership of ten we seek always to provide prompt pastoral care as and when necessary.
  • Combe St Nicholas Youth Club meet weekly in term time and use the Methodist Church premises.
  • The church rooms are used by outside organisations and they are available for hire.
